Facial

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Facials may include the use of a facial mask.

A facial is a family of skin care treatments for the face, including steam, exfoliation (physical and chemical), extraction, creams, lotions, facial masks, peels, and massage. They are normally performed in beauty salons, but are also a common spa treatment. They are used for general skin health as well as for specific skin conditions. Types of facials include European facial,[1] LED light therapy facials, hydrafacials and mini-facials.

Facial mask

[edit]

There are different kinds of masks (e.g., clay, cactus, cucumber) for different purposes: deep-cleansing, by penetrating the pores; healing acne scars or hyper-pigmentation; brightening, for a gradual illumination of the skin tone. Facial masks also help with anti-aging, acne, crows feet, under eye bags, sagging lids, dark circles, puffiness,[2] and more. Some masks are designed to dry or solidify on the face, almost like plaster; others just remain wet.

Masks are removed by either rinsing the face with water, wiping off with a damp cloth, or peeling off of the face. Duration for wearing a mask varies with the type of mask, and manufacturer's usage instructions. The time can range from a few minutes to overnight. Those with sensitive skin are advised to first test out the mask on a small portion of the skin, in order to check for any irritations. Some facial masks are not suited to frequent use. A glycolic mask should not be used more frequently than once a month to avoid the risk of burning the skin.

Masks can be found anywhere from drugstores to department stores and can vary in consistency and form. Setting masks include: clay, which is a thicker consistency, and will draw out impurities (and sometimes, natural oils, too) from the pores; a cream, which stays damp to hydrate the skin; sheet-style, in which a paper mask is dampened with liquid to tone and moisturize the skin; and lastly, a hybrid/clay and cream form that includes small beads for removing dead surface skin cells. Non-setting facial masks include warm oil and paraffin wax masks. These different forms are made to suit different skin types (e.g., oily or dry), and different skincare goals or needs (e.g., moisturizing, cleansing, exfoliating). Clay and mud masks suit oily and some "combination" skin types,[3] while cream-based masks tend to suit dry and sensitive skin types. There are also peel-off masks which are used to remove thin layers of dead skin cells and dirt.[4]

I had my first ever sugaring session done (way more comfortable than waxing IMO). The space is very cool since it is located inside an old church that has been renovated! Victoria was very professional, but not in a “stuffy” way which let me be comfortable and laid back during a more… vulnerable service 😉 … More

Fall in love with your skin

Made for you

Professional skincare routines and facials designed for your skin’s needs.

Why I love my job

I found esthetics after developing eczema. It was covering about 90% of my body and was completely unbearable. I was a scaly mess. Two years later I had tried a hundred different creams, lotions, oils, serums, herbs, literally whatever anyone suggested. I was desperate for relief. And then….it got better! Through healing I discovered something beautiful, I fell in love with my skin. After the years of trial, error, and crying, I got better (and less itchy). And now I have the honor of helping others on the same journey. I get to help them fall in love with their skin. Book an appointment with me. I can’t wait to meet you!

Lash Tinting Procedure

Now that you're aware of the incredible benefits lash tinting can bring, you may be wondering what the actual lash tinting procedure entails.

At Honey Sugaring and Facials, our expert technicians will carefully apply a specially formulated lash tint to your eyelashes, ensuring each strand is thoroughly coated.

Keratin Lash Lift Benefits

You might not realize it, but you deserve to have the most stunning, natural-looking lashes possible. That's where a keratin lash lift comes in!

This revolutionary treatment provides numerous benefits that'll make you wonder how you ever lived without it. First and foremost, a keratin lash lift enhances the beauty of your natural lashes by curling them upward, creating an open-eyed, rejuvenated appearance. Additionally, this treatment nourishes and strengthens your lashes with keratin – a protein naturally found in hair – promoting growth and resilience against breakage.

Say goodbye to constantly fussing with mascara and eyelash curlers because a lash lift lasts for weeks on end, simplifying your morning routine and saving time. So go ahead, give yourself the gift of effortlessly beautiful lashes with a keratin lash lift – you won't regret it!

Lash Lift Process

Now that you're aware of the amazing benefits of a keratin lash lift, let's talk about the lash lift process itself.

You might be wondering how it compares to getting eyelash extensions, but rest assured, it's a completely different experience.

The procedure involves applying a gentle solution and a keratin-infused serum to your natural lashes, which are then carefully curled around a silicone rod.

This process lifts and sets the curl in place for weeks without the need for any additional maintenance or touch-ups.

So you can sit back, relax, and let the professionals work their magic on your gorgeous lashes – all you'll have to do is enjoy the stunning results!

Benefits Of Tinting

But wait, there's more!

Lash tinting is another fantastic service we offer that complements your newly lifted lashes. The benefits of tinting go beyond just adding color; it enhances the overall appearance of your eyes by giving them a fuller, more defined look.

By customizing the tint to match your natural hair color or choosing a shade that contrasts and pops, our expert estheticians ensure that you'll love the result.

So why not give lash tinting a try? You'll be turning heads with your stunning new look in no time!
